Phase 4 is FULLY FUNDED!

Thank you to everyone who has helped us fund the first four phases of Turn On The Water 2016!  The total raised for the project is now over to $85,000.  Let that sink in for a moment.  In just 4 weeks, $85,000 has been raised to help change the lives of the people living in San Carlos, Nicaragua.  WOW!  Thank you so much for helping make that happen.

We are now left with just phase 5.  Phase 5 will cover the pipeworts that will distribute the abundant clean water directly to the homes of the families living in San Carlos.  Will you help us finish off the monumental fundraising campaign?

Phase 4: The Tank

About The Tank Phase

The Tank phase. This is kind of like the face of our clean water projects. The tank is the most visible piece. All the other phases are like supporting actors.

Once we get all that clean water to the surface, we need to keep it somewhere. And not just anywhere. It needs to be situated in a place that can push water out to the entire community.

This means we'll need to place the water tank atop a tower high enough to gravity-feed San Carlos with 65 gallons per family / per day. It’s a simple technology, but an asset that will serve San Carlos for more than 50+ years with good maintenance.

Phase 4 Transparency Notes

It's important to note that the five phases of the TOTW campaign are not an exact reflection of the costs of that phase. The phase amounts are close and have been rounded to a near whole number. Each of the five phases also include roughly 16% project overhead costs (i.e.: vehicle, mobilization, etc.).
